1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mindarc ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are a parent or guardian creating an account for a minor, you agree to these terms on behalf of your child and accept responsibility for their use of the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Mindarc is an AI-powered educational platform providing:

AI Socratic tutoring across CBSE subjects for Classes 1-10
Animated video lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum
Adaptive quizzes and practice assessments
Parent and teacher dashboards for progress monitoring
Offline content access (for eligible subscription tiers)

3. Account Registration

Student accounts must be created by a parent or guardian who is at least 18 years of age
You must provide accurate and complete registration information
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
One account per student. Multi-child support is available on the Premium plan

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Free tier: Available at no cost with limited features as described on our pricing page
Paid plans (Basic, Premium): Billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of purchase
Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
We accept UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, and popular digital wallets

5. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
30-day money-back guarantee: If you are not satisfied within the first 30 days of a new subscription, contact us for a full refund
Refunds for annual plans after 30 days will be prorated based on unused months
Free trial periods do not require payment and incur no charges if cancelled before the trial ends

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Share your account credentials with anyone outside your household
Use the Platform for any purpose other than personal educational use
Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute our content or AI models
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform
Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access restrictions

7. Content & Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including lessons, quizzes, animations, and AI-generated responses — is owned by Mindarc or its licensors
Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for personal educational purposes
Downloaded content for offline use may not be redistributed, shared, or used commercially
NCERT and CBSE curriculum references are used under fair use for educational purposes

8. AI Tutor Disclaimer

Our AI tutor is designed to assist learning and is not a substitute for qualified teachers or professional academic guidance. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally contain errors. Students should verify important information with their teachers or textbooks.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mindarc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra. We encourage users to contact us at legal@mindarc.in before initiating any formal proceedings.
